Meet the Team

I have always loved music and listening to radio, it gets me off to sleep at night and wakes me up in the morning. I started in 1977 as a volunteer at the Hammersmith hospital radio station, broadcasting to patients on the wards.

Sadly, this station has now closed but the experiences I gained were invaluable and it gave me a boost when I was asked to join the Radio Thamesmead (RTM) Community Radio Station.

I started off doing the children’s show, then the sports show on Saturday and finally the Saturday Breakfast show.

I left RMT in 1991 to concentrate on my self-employment business as an electrician but was also DJing in nightclubs in London, such as The Dorchester & Raffles.

In January 2007, I saw an advert for presenters at Hayes FM in Middlesex, so I applied to join them, and at the same time I also applied to join Radio Hillingdon.

I was given the opportunity to do the Breakfast show on a Sunday morning at Hayes FM, whilst doing a midweek show at Radio Hillingdon.

I left Hayes FM in 2013 and in 2015 was offered to stand in for the regular Sunday Morning Breakfast Team as they wanted a holiday here at Radio Hillingdon. The next thing I knew I was asked to take over Sunday mornings from 08.00 – 10.00hrs. And here I am.

My breakfast show is packed with contents to suit a wider audience ranging from music from a golden year to current, quizzes & news. So, tune in and wake up with me on Sunday mornings from 08.00 – 10.00hrs.
